I am Jason Precious Ekka, and it is a true honor to serve as the Head Boy of W. John Multipurpose Board School. Having been part of this school family since nursery, now as a Class 10 student, I look back with deep gratitude at the values, lessons, and opportunities that have shaped who I am today.
One of the most important lessons I have learned is the power of discipline. To me, discipline is not just about following rules, but about building habits, cultivating self-control, and striving to give our best in everything we do. Along this journey, balancing academics with co-curricular activities has helped me grow not only as a student but also as a confident and well-rounded individual.
I have come to believe that true growth happens when we work together. Teamwork and unity among students, teachers, and staff create an environment where everyone thrives. Failures, too, have played an important role in my learning; rather than being signs of weakness, they have been stepping stones that taught me resilience, determination, and courage.
As students, we carry the responsibility of shaping a brighter future. By managing our time wisely, embracing curiosity, and practicing kindness and compassion, we can create a school culture built on support and respect. Gratitude, I believe, keeps us grounded, helping us appreciate the guidance of our parents, teachers, and friends. And while we should always dream big, hard work and humility are what turn those dreams into meaningful success.
As Head Boy, I aspire to lead by example, encourage my peers, and contribute to making W. John Multipurpose Board School a place where excellence, unity, and growth are not just ideals, but a shared reality for all.
